LIFE IS SO PRECIOUS
Life is so precious...
Day to day we take for granted
What someone else can’t imagine...
Slowly it kills me inside.
Life is so precious...
Day in and day out stressing
following a direction seldom traveled
not learning from my lessons
repeating the same nonsense and expecting many blessings
Life is so precious...All the while there’s a child
who sits back waiting
for the Pursuit of which all for granted we are taking
as the time goes on
we fail to realize
that child grows on
older and older
in suffrage of the cold shoulder
the breadcrumbs of ignorance
to them beauty in the eye of the beholder poison turned nourishment holding them over
hearts hardened your load them the holder
Life is so precious...
how can we cry out we love...
yet we doom their hearts from the start
how can we cry out love...continuing to usher
but not playing our Parts

What started off as just a poem evolved into a great peace of literature what is now his debut children’s book “Just Like Me”.
